Organizations cannot expect to survive without constant innovation. Innovation is woven into the fabric of the American spirit and has created the entrepreneurial drive that has made the U.S. a nation of tremendous wealth and opportunity. Competing in the global marketplace has been a catalyst for incredible change and improvement over the past ten years. Organizations who recognized major economic shifts in the late 90's jumped head first into innovation in one form or another in order to survive. Innovations such as increased speed, finding niche markets, improving quality, outsourcing and process improvements have served to keep U.S. manufacturers globally competitive.
BUT THAT'S NOT ENOUGH! Constant, repetitive innovation that includes new products, technologies, and services will be the key to survival for U.S. manufacturing.
